Description and Access
The Department of Midwifery is one of the six Departments of the School of Health and Welfare Professions of the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEI). The Department was established with a legislative act of 1984 (Ε5/652 Ministerial Act, February 9, 1984 ΦΕΚ 99/24-2-1984).
The Department of Midwifery is accommodated together with the Department of Early Childhood Care and Education, the School’s Library and the ERASMUS office in a two-floor building in the Campus of ATEI, in Sindos area, approximately 20 Km from the center of Thessaloniki. Teaching classes, Laboratories, the Secretariat and Offices of the Teaching Staff are situated in two floors.
Department is accessible by car and local buses. Bus numbers 52 and 53 travel frequently from the Main Railway Station of Thessaloniki to ATEI.
